Looking to scare up some family fun this Halloween? Look no further than Loveland’s own Halloween Family Fun Festival, happening Saturday, October 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (http://www.cityofloveland.org/index.aspx?page=739).
What would Halloween be without kids dressing up in costumes and going trick-or-treating? Fear not, you will find both at this safe, supervised event.
The Family Fun Festival even includes an elaborate costume contest with first, second, and third place prizes awarded for best costumes in all age ranges, from infants to teens. There is even an adult category! For the family with extra creativity, a best family-theme prize will be handed out.
To enter the costume contest, organizers require contestants to register before 12:15 p.m. on the day of the event at the “Costume Contest Booth” found on the festival grounds.
The Loveland Museum/Gallery hosts a day full of food, entertainment, fun activities for kids, vendor booths, trick-or-treating, and much more.
This Halloween, the whole family can spend time together and compete for prizes. Don’t forget to bring your cameras for what promises to provide unbeatable photo opportunities!
The Halloween Family Fun Festival will be held at Peters Park next to the Loveland Museum/Gallery on 500 E. Third Street.
This free community event happens just once a year, so don’t delay when picking out those costumes – and good luck!
